I am buying a used steering wheel of a guys bird and wanted to know if anyone has any info on installing it. Also I have heard there are adapters that allow you to control a aftermarket head unit from the steering wheel as long as the head unit has a remote control. Anybody know where I can get one??? Also I should not have to rewire the whole system just for the head right??

A guy on LS1tech has converted his steering wheel controls over to control his carPC. It's definitely doable.- Brian Meissen
