Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Yeah I'm up for it. I want to do that coolant flush first. Gotta take care of the necessities before I have fun. Yeah right... what could be more fun than working on an fbody?
yea, never pulled a fine with mine, was pushing alot more the 12 watts tho.. like i said, have 1500 or so into it.. Hams are too expensive and to much BS to work with..
you can get hand held CB's for real cheap, the down side is, they have a 3 foot antenna on them that you have to open up or spend 25 bucks on a exterior mount.. and the fact they have like a .5 mile range.. meanwhile the one i had could reach people in flint from saginaw..
-Im Ron Burgundy? ----------------------------
-LT1 383 Stroker, 36 lbs SVO's, Comp Custom grind, Eagle H beam forged rotating assembly, 1.5 RR's, Hooker super comp LT's, custom straight pipes back to a pair of Thrush Turbo II's.. more to come.
hey wait, you guys got CBs? I really need to install mine too, you mind if I tag along? lol
Yes, we do have CB's . . . And yes, you can tag along. . . lol We are trying to get a cheap, and effective, method of communication for cruising. I installed mine, but I have all kinds of interference from the engine and stuff. I have two antennas, and they both suck. I'm going to buy a short antenna at work after my first paycheck, and then I'll be set!
my hand held ive been able to get a clear signal for about 5 miles really depends where im at when driving but 2 miles is the worst range i get outta it, i just use it on road trips to keep in touch with whoever is tagging along... not to hookup with the truckers on the weekends so range isnt a huge deal for me...lol
