    hey post up a pic of that head liner. you shoud paint racing stripes on it cauz i decided not to do mine. to bad you didnt live closer cauz i could get you all kinds of scrap pieces of glass cauz im going back to word at mid michigan fiberglass. yay mod money

      I'll post it up when it looks better. My fiberglassing isn't the best, but after a layer of bondo-glass goes on and sanded, she'll look a lot better.

        i dont care if its not the "best" trust me ive done worse i wanna see how it looks with the glass on it before you put the bondo on

          Here's your update. Finally got the bondo-glass on it. I'm going to sand it smooth, and then wrap it in black vinyl. Worst part is that I've gone through 3/4ths of the bondo-glass tub... which was $40! This project is getting REALLY expensive, as I've already spent $90 on it, and here I thought it'd be an easy in-expensive mod.

                  Haven't you seen the pics before? My faceplate has a custom extension cable. There's 16 pins on the plug for the faceplate, so I used two cat5 cables and soldered them to the pins of the plug, tada custom extension cable.

                                getting a quality paint job out of it. The headliner is going to flex, and I don't want to risk the paint flexing and cracking. Vinyl material can flex and give a little, so it'd be easier to handle.
