Well, Ben and I went out and cruised for a while today, and I decided, what the hell, my clutch is already f***ed up, I might as well have some fun with it. . . We spent about 20 minutes burning rubber. . . lol Now the clutch is slipping like mad, and it's still under warranty! Ben and I are taking out the old one next week, and I have to wait a day until the new one comes in. I've done it before, so I don't anticipate any problems this time. The problem I had last time was that the pilot bearing didn't line up right, causing the clutch to shudder on takeoff, and it's done it ever since I bought the car, I don't know why. I'll post up some pics, because I think I'm going to change the fluid and paint it while it's out. Maybe I'll pick up a filter kit and change the trans filter. Any suggestions? I picked up some new interior quarter panels with new Rockford Fosgate "Power" mid-high speakers installed yesterday for about $40, and they sound great. . . Pics to come soon!

The Transmission WILL be all one color. . . lol. Sheesh, you'd think that the fact that about half of the car is already in primer would tip some people off that it's about to receive a new coat of paint in the near future. . . lol I'm kind of leaning towards a different brand of paint, the House of Kolor paint is about $80 per quart, and it's going to take about 8 quarts of it to paint the car, whereas the PPG color that is very similar is only about $65 a quart, and it will take about half as much paint to get the same coverage. . . Anyone have any other suggestions? I could always go with the same color it was before, and only pay about $300-$400 for all of the paint, hardener, reducer, and clear coat included, or the PPG or HOK and pay twice that for JUST THE PAINT. I'm leaning towards the same color it's always been, it will look a lot better though, because I'm going to throw a couple extra coats of clear on it, and it will have black stripes and a GFX kit on it in addition to what you all remember and hated. . . lol Shoot any suggestions you have my way, I'd be glad to hear what you all have to say!Nick H.
