hey now! i drive a pimped out 95 neon with all the stock mods done to it! Does that make me a ricer? I forgot the coffee can..but i have a nice leak off the manifold that sounds pretty bad ass!

no, it just putts along. Im the same way. i could careless what im driving during the winter months. As long as it runs, gets me from point A to B, has heat im good! I picked up this neon for $1200 a year ago. It made it to chicago and back pretty much every other weekend all winter and summer. I was even driving out there when we had the hottest day last year. Cranked up the A/C and cruised out with no problems. The only down fall of the car is its a Iris color..which is like a light purple/silver. Picture that..a 6'4 250 lb guy..in a little 95 4 door iris neon! I love it! As long as my WS.6 is sitting pretty, i could give 2 shits!

Most of the time, I think people are too quick to jump to "ricer" though. I mean honestly, most of what the "ricers" do originated from the hot rod era or from a respectable source (IE: Hotrodders and/or racing) the main problem is the ignorance of their ways, like putting a huge wing to create downforce on a fwd car. But, then again, if you're adding it 100% for looks, you make it a point to tell everyone it's only for looks, I don't see the big deal. A lot of what my car has could be considered "rice" but I don't act like my car is fast, and I constantly tell everyone how slow it is. I did all my mods for appearance, not to look fast, but just for it to look how I wanted.

Ill tell ya what, I shaved my doors on my prostreet 1992 camaro, i love the shaved door look.. i think its nice and clean....

if its a summer car then go far it. if you drive it all year it might be a pain. my buddys got a blazer with shaved door handles and hes always having problems in the winter, they freeze and you gotta climb through the back or something. seems like more of a pain then its worth
