If your going to shave your door handles, make sure the poppers are strong enough especially for michigan, since we do have problems with ice. I've heard 45lb selenoids are about what is needed, if it's going to be driven during the winter months.

Thank you. That gets to me just as much as the retards that say neons are for ricers. Gotta learn refresh the car history before saying something is ricer, it was the hot rodders that invented MOST of what people do today.

Since the 4th gen door handles are so smooth and blend with the car I just looked to make the locks look nicer by adding some Smooth Locks to my car. Subtle touch most people don't notice for months but is cool when someone finally asks about them.Originally posted by tenpin842thats what I plan on doing. I might shave my locks off though. Or just paint them the same color as the car. I'm still up in the air on that one.

I was talking to a guy at Camaro SuperFest this year who had them. He said he had to pop one of them off too, but when he ordered them, he ordered like 2 or 3 sets of them and painted them all at once just in case he had to take them off. Smart idea.Nick H.
