I'll have to get some pics taken tonight and post up either tonight or tomorrow. I've got the lowering springs and new shocks/struts on and the underside all cleaned up last night. I need to wipe the wheels down and put them back on the car and get it on the ground and finish with the polishing.

I finished cleaning the grill, I put the air dam back on (nice and shiny), polished the wheels, cleaned the interior, and loaded the car. All while my dad finished the finaly coat of ZAINO on. The car has never looked this clean. We are heading out right now to load it up in the trailer, and finish packing. CAN'T WAIT TILL FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH, BY THE WAY, THIS WILL BE THE FIRST TIME ANY OF YOU SEE THIS CAR IN THE STATE IT'S IN. ONLY A SELECT FEW HAVE SEEN IT SINCE I'VE GOT EVERYTHING DONE.

Including the drive to St. Louis to get the wheels I figured I have about 70 hours in getting the car ready. Did the final 12 hours yesterday and got completely done. Or, I should say done until I see the car under the bright lights and then the cleaning starts all over again LOL. She is all loaded up and ready to go
I think we are going to have a great display and an AWESOME weekend

Black paint sucks!!!! Spent the night trying to polish it and get out the scratches and swirls and it still looks like crap. I have a ton of small chips and spots in the paint that there's nothing I can do with. It's shiny but it's definately nowhere near as nice as Greg's paint. I'm not even sure wet sanding and buffing would save it. I'm feeling a repaint and color change coming! That probably won't happen for at least another year or more, if ever.
The car is definately low now! It looks sweet but was a major pain to get off the jack stands since my jack wouldn't lift it high enough to get them free. I had to do a lot of jacking and jockying around to get it down safely. I had a few scary moments when I thought it was gonna fall of the stands and go through the garage door! I'll have to get pics of it tomorrow after I get it set up at the show. It's bedtime and I need to get up early to check it over and gather up my cleaning supplies to take with me.

You gotta remember, you are looking at it with a high power halogen light which will show everything! 3/4 of that will not even show once it's in "normal" light. Good luck...see you on saturday.

Huh? Paint tech man? I know about painting and my dad and I have painted a few of mine and his vehicles. The most recent was in 2004 when we redid my GMC Sonoma. The problem on the Camaro is a few scratches are through the color layer too. That paint is SOO thin it's not even funny! I'm uploading pics of the finished car in my driveway and will be posting shortly.
