2nd attempt at posting this, 1st was last nite when the system blew-up so to speak.
Wade, your car is looking good.
Yes, I have been accepted to show my car at Grand Rapids, so with Dougs' permission I will be invading the WMCC display!! Is this a first? An EMCC member in the WMCC display.
Only catch is finding(can't believe I am asking) a enclosed trailer. ANYONE on the eastside of the state have one?

Looks Good Wade! I know how much work it is getting your car ready for the Show (one of the reasons I haven't put my car back in again...yet).
But just to make you feel better I wanted to let you and Al Jr know that while you guys were smelling paint fumes and wrenching tonight I was out driving my Camaro having a blast!! .............. Oh wait, that just makes me happy
not you. LOL!!!!
Seriously, it will be a proud moment for you to see the car on display and the crowd admiring it, keep up the good work!!
(Still can't believe I was able to drive the car only 1 week before X-Mass!! Weeeeeeeee!!

Thanks Doug and Gary.
How much Blue Moon should I bring?
Last I knew Greg was trying to sell the trailer, but will check on it.
Wish I had my car now, it has been 65-70 degrees here in Tennessee!Eastern Michigan Camaro Club - President

Funny you should say that. I've been asking for one of those for Christmas for about 4 years now and STILL haven't gotten one! I want the single one but when I remember to look in the stores they never have them. I got the rear painted but need to touch up a few spots. I'll post up pics later after I get back from dinner.Originally posted by micamaro92:snowman: .... Heat in that garage would make it nice ! Saw one of those Propane top mounted heaters at Lowes .Not very expensive ..Hope you get your whole project done... :reidneer2:

Well I got the passenger side spindle and parts painted. I need to do another coat once this dries yet. I have the rear painted but there's still a few spots I need to go back and touch up. It's SO hard to get everything with the car just on jackstands and poor lighting trying to get all the recesses and hard to reach spots on the rear. I dropped the sway bar and pulled up the brake lines off the rear to paint under them. It looks much nicer black than the nasty rusty/greasy look. I used some great brake and parts cleaner I got from Walmart for $1.88 a can. This stuff literally just hosed all the grease right off! I just wiped it down with a rag after it had dried to get off any leftover gunk. I'm using Eastwood's Rust Encapsulator paint in matte black.
