Carbon Fiber Berger Panel

My take on the Berger panel was originally going to be the simple black satin panel. But I started to think and I have been wanting to go all out with carbon fiber on something. So decided that I am going to CF my Berger panel to start and move onto other various parts of the car. There are a few other pieces that I am going to start and post in the coming weeks and fall/winter time while the car is down for the season. But nonetheless here are a couple pics of raw CF before the first coat of resin was layed. I hand layed and push the CF into the word CAMARO all by hand and hours of work.







carcon fiber is so cool to work with its addicting to say the least. Trying to think if everything custom appearance wise that I can build myself I cannot wait.

We could do it either way. When I do my corvette FRC's I can let you know when I'm doing them. Let me know what your thinking about doing.

haha well I didn't do it, I bought it from a member on here who bought it off ebay.

Mine has the typical "yellowing" of the resin.

The resin I used is supposed to prevent the yellowing and is more flexible than other resins. To help with this issue of yellowing after I put the second coat of resin on I'm going to sand it down once again and apply two coats of automotive grade clear over the. Top of that to add to the uv protection.
