Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

2000 Camaro SS Triple Black, 6 speed, Born 6/16/2000. SLP #8468. Plenty of Goodies
It's going to be hard to do after slathering a bunch of products on it, but I saw someone who used a bunch of degreaser and such and then painted his cowl trim black. It looked amazing.
alright so I used some foaming engine degreaser that I had laying around the other day and it worked pretty well. I am considering doing the heat gun thing as well, but I heard it doesn't last that long?

smoothed ,filled extra vent holes and painted mine.I would just paint I have probably 20 hours in mine with all the hand sanding but if cleaned paint holds up pretty good. not sure with camaros but had to remove wipers to get cowls off so also something else to consider.
Decided to try this on my truck today as its been driving me crazy! I used some mineral spirits, then hit it with Krylon satin black... We'll see how it holds up.
