    Looking for a good media blasting company local to detroit metro area

    I am looking to get a iroc z spoiler soda blasted to strip all the old paint chips and scratches out of it. Im not sure where to go and Ive looked into some place and they want like 200 bucks or more to just do a spoiler. If no one has any Ideas on where to take it... What are some other good ways to strip a fiberglass spoiler? I dont want to just sand it down to aviod making waves and addition work.

    If its a stock spoiler it's smc not fiber glass just sand it down with a da with some 180 to 220 then prime that all I was told to do

      Sand it, don't waste your money getting it blasted.

        Chris at S&S on Mound and 15 will take care of you. I wouldn't take it anywhere else. He will only blast fiberglass/smc once the media is broken down and won't damaged the part.

        You could just strip it chemically as well

          ok, Well I just bought the spoiler. Im not sure if it is a reman or a stock take off.. I see that on the bottom of one side of the spoiler that it says the years that the spoiler will fit.. So maybe a reman? It may be plastic type, chem strip using? Paint remover or something..

            Go to homedepot n grab a can of stripper

            Imo it works better than the air craft stripper

              Air craft stripper is too weak I hated it when using it for my projects, like Jon said the Home Depot stuff called "stripper" orange label was the best we found.

              But I would personally just sand the spoiler yourself.
