Same. Looks great just not my style. If you asked me GM did perfect on these cars, interior and exterior does not need to be touched.

Now that your fingerprints are back after all that sanding, what is next!
Haha! Real carbon fiber for the win! It is so much better than hydrographics (in my opinion).

You nailed it with the finally having my fingertips back after sanding- when I was done I was thinking "thanks GOD I'm finally done!" But honestly I would really like to do more now.

If any of you are interested we can discuss me wrapping some stuff on your car (to anyone). I have materials left and really like projects!

I couldn't disagree more, but that is the fun thing about cars. Everyone has different taste but with a little effort can get their car just as they want it. Its fun to see all the different ideas that come from this. For me, I hated how monotone the stock interior was with the exact same color cheap plastic everywhere! I like it when an interior has accent colors and various textures. I especially LOVE how good the smooth cold carbon fiber feels vs. the plastic and leather just next to it. Love it!

think this would work on old school metal bumpers, just for looks though?

edit: before someone asks the dumb comment, NO its not for my car at all

ok good to know, cause to have bumpers re-dipped its about 700-850 per bumper cause of the size.

Yeah, you could do that. Would be a relatively easy part to do too because of the simple geometry.

Great job, this has been in my future mod plans for years now just haven't gotten around to getting all the product especially with the cost of carbon fiber. I'm really close to just going with 3M Dinoc but not so sure yet.

^ Don't go with DiNoc if you want a carbon fiber look. DiNoc looks good, I think, but it does not look like CF. You'd be surprised how cheap the carbon fiber materials are if you're doing it yourself. The cost of CF parts is largely from the labor. I think the material costs for my project were about $120 and I still have a lot of carbon left.

I'm against the fake stuff too but Di-Noc is the where it's at. The only difference between Di-Noc and the real deal is that the real CF usually has a super slick gloss coat over it. However, if you ever seen a dry CF part you would be surprised...it looks just like a part wrapped with Di-Noc.

I have seen both in person. Don't get me wrong, I like DiNoc too, I really do. I'm not knocking it. And I would use it for the look that it has, but it just really doesn't look like carbon fiber.

If you want the look of carbon fiber, go carbon fiber. If you want the look of DiNoc, go DiNoc. I don't like hydrographic CF though....
