I honestly don't know what watt they are.. I bought them from Ebay a couple years ago.. I want to say 35W and for sure made by Xentec... My housings are unchanged since install and I use them quite frequently..

the norm is 35w and an upgraded kit would be 50w I run 10k in my bike, fogs and headlights, no issue on wiring melting or housings
'91 Camaro Modded, LSx, House of Kolor Intense White, lowered, GS chrome 18" wheels, 14" Brembo CTS-V on all 4 corners, LS rear end, FP suspension components

I want some for my 96 Formula since one of my fog lights are burned out as it is.

I've been running the HIDs on my '96 for 3 years and have had no issues. I've run one on the bike for 2+ years, and never an issue, but I stick with the 35W kits, at 6000k. I haven't, however, run them in anything plastic-housed. I'm not too sure if the OEM foglights actually run at 55W either. I will say this, though. If the fogs are adjustable, try to aim them down a bit. They have a powerful beam to them. Don't go crazy with it, just a minor down-aiming should work.

You gotta remember though, that silverstars run even hotter, thus the higher light output. Silvania just took the Halogen idea and pushed the envelope a bit. I had actually gone from silverstars to HID and found a huge difference in the heat of the headlight housings between silverstars and HIDs, just by touch.

Honestly, I don't forsee any worries with those. I think you'll appreciate them a lot too.

Im hoping they workout. My biggest fear is that I am going to get screwed over by DDM though. As of late I hear they are having some REALLY bad problems shipping and with customer service. Keep your fingers crossed guys!
