Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

ok you know those hot wheelz car about a decade ago that reacted with heat to change color...yea i sat there and thought...that would be cool...i want it so bad...but the only problem is that paint is super expensive lol. how do you guys feel about color changing paint like this?
I remember those cars lol, that is a great idea!!! I would love to see that done
and if you remeber on those cars you could brush hot or cold water on to make designs...you could constantly make it a art canvas changing it whenever you want easily
omg i know, it would be the coolest thing in the freking world, untill you get splashed lol
yeah or if it rains, but then you can just end up with a solid color car. I have a feeling in michigan it would be hard to get the warm color to stick around, all my cars that I heated up always returned slowly to the cold color.
That would be sweet but $430 per quart is crazy expensive. How much does it normally take (in quarts/pints/whatever) to paint a full car?
Believe it or not that doesn;t sound too highly pricd for what you get. We recently painted a new CTS V hood and it was similar to $350/ quart.
When we painted my chevelle we used a gallon of base coat, but that included the backside if the fenders, door jams, trunk jams, underside of the trunk, headlight bezels, mirror, rear valance, front bumper filler panel, and the whole body/panels. But it also can vary on what color of a car you have. Like Yellow can be diffcult to get full coverage as well as whites and some reds.

its a neet idea... but if you drive the car, the hood of your car will always be hot right? so if your whole car is like blue.. your hood would be white in certain spots.. and im sure it wouldnt be an even heat distribution either.. itd look all spotty.. and im sure that wouldnt look too cool.
