Keep it as is. Just remember if you go too dark or too light, it won't look good when you pop the hood...unless you plan on removing the engine to get a really good paint job on the engine bay area. 8-O

remember he has the non louver style.

Maybe a touch darker in paint would be cool

Keep it stock color. And For the Blisters, keep them body color. They look horrible black, Yea iroc hoods have Louvers, and they are supposed to be black. But the blisters are to be body color.

Also Im one for original color also, And I was going to paint my 84 z the original blue, but its such a boring ugly blue.

Yes, the IROC hood louvers are black and look good... that is because they are "molded" into the form of the hood. The vents he is talking about painting are above the hood and don't flow as well. Idk... jmo

Ok, the general consensus seems to go stock, and I will probably end up going that route. I definitely want it to last, so I'm going with a UV resistant paint...The painter at the dealership my dad works at does painting on the side in his pole barn, and he quoted me at $1800 to do the whole car, and that is including the paint, which is $800 alone. It seems like a great deal, so that will happen when tax return time rolls around.

I vote for Corvette Electron blue metallic. Best blue color ever! Similar shade to your blue but POPS much more. Or consider the 2010 Camaro Aqua Blue metallic.
