  • ? on powdercoat/paint rims?

    how much do you guys think it would cost me to get my rims painted/powder coated like these rims? lol i stole the picture and dont mind the girl on the car . but i want my ss rims to be black but i personally dont/cant paint them.

        It's easier than you'd think to do it yourself, especially if you're just goin all black.

        If I were you, I'd at least try one rim. If you mess it up it won't matter b/c you'll be gettin them done professionally anyways.

                Yeah My 5 dollar trick is only good for looking nice to sell or just on some used rims, Get them done right If your going to keep them.
                My buddy in ohio said something about he can powdercoat them in his shop but thats a bit away lol

                  i had black rims with a polished lip on them before. i liked them but they only fit a 245 tire on the back. but they were 5 spoke. so im timid about the 10 spoke black look. anyone car to photoshop black onto the these pics? lol go an extra mile and tint the windows? lol i wish i had photoshop.

                    I've had two sets of wheels done.

                    Stripped...prepped...powdercoated a specific color...machined back the bare aluminum that was required...and powdercoated clear over the top of all of it.

                    $125-140 a wheel.

                    Best money I ever spent.
