Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
With my anal retentiveness, I managed to find 2 flaws total (on 2 different wheels) that likely came from not perfectly prepping them...smudges under the clear on the bare aluminum.
But...I didn't pay for concourse, so I didn't ***** one bit.

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.
Damn...that's kinda pricey...but yeah, they look great.
If you want waaaaay too much information...
The original color of gold there is code 55 Aztec Gold (originally from 1976) that was used for the gold T/A wheels in 1989.
AWR could not find a powdercoat that existed in code 55 Aztec Gold, but offered to custom mix a batch...for a price.
Not.
I told them just to get as close as possible...really don't have any clue what the actual color is, but they came extremely close to nailing it right on.
For the multi step process I required, they were by far and away the most cost friendly shop that was quoted...two other shops quoted me $175 and $195 a wheel...

Have you considered a dark gray instead of black. I think a nice gunmetal would make your car go a long way. You could probably have the whole set painted for a couple of hundred. I think this would be a much better choice for you...
Here is a Formula in a similiar green with painted gun metal stockers. I think those SS wheels you've got would look great like these...
Black wheels with a polished lip might look sharp...
