New HID pics

I have a question....I see Hid bulb sets all over ebay for Camaro's for like $15-$20. It's just the bulb and a simple install. What is the difference between those and this product? I'd much rather support a supplier on this website than some random company but that is a huge price difference. And again I'm not sure of the quality of the ebay products as well.

Those aren't HIDs. To install (this is as far as I know, I haven't seen anything different) you need ballast (HID module box thingy) to power the HIDs.

That and HIDs need an ignitor (ballast box) in order to operate. They have no filaments, as far as I know. They also draw 35 watts or less (they run cooler and take less draw from the alternator). If they are TRUE HIDs, the blubs will be like a straight tube that is physically skinnier than a 55/60 W bulb.

Yeah HIDs as I understand it are basically fluorescent lights.

After looking at hid lights all last night, naturally, I was leaving work tonight, and my front passenger headlight was out. It's like a sign that I need these HID's. Too bad I don't have the extra cash at the moment.

Trust me guys.. Once you go HID's you will NEVER wanna go back to a halogen bulb.. I have had mine for over a year and I still love the look of them when the lights turn on.. Like it has been said in this thread many times, we do have a group purchase going on for 125.00+4.60 shipping! That is for any bulb and any HID temp!!
