Incorrect they have 2 seperate bulbs for high and lows and you can actually have them both on at the same time terefor you have to do it custom for the birds I've looked forever for a good kit with no luck.

That could be remedied by doing a fixed headlight conversion, but it's just not worth it IMO. Plus, how many times do you actually use the high beams anyway? lol Keep me posted if you decide to go this route or not, I might follow suit if it goes well for you!
I believe that since birds only have one bulb, there is some sort of a reflector that moves to redirect the beam. Since the HID are just the bulb and an external ballast, I would assume that this would work the same way.

Been running them for about 9 months now. Love them. I'm running "ice" style housings with them in my Firebird (and even have them on the motorcycle). I am, though, waiting on a pair of projector housings to come in so that I can more completely focus the light to the road, but have had no problems with them at all, except when people just pull right in front of me (as if I don't exist), they quickly learn the error they made. Other than trying to see if I can get a powerful beam to the street, no problems. Plus they use about half the power regular bulbs use. They were about $65 through Ebay.

P.S. By the way, my AVI is with the HIDs.
