If I'm not mistaken, you will lose your High Beams if you put HID's in your car, Ben, since the stock headlights in LT1-style cars use a high/low combined headlight, so you will only have low beams. . . That could be remedied by doing a fixed headlight conversion, but it's just not worth it IMO. Plus, how many times do you actually use the high beams anyway? lol Keep me posted if you decide to go this route or not, I might follow suit if it goes well for you!

I believe that since birds only have one bulb, there is some sort of a reflector that moves to redirect the beam. Since the HID are just the bulb and an external ballast, I would assume that this would work the same way.

Incorrect they have 2 seperate bulbs for high and lows and you can actually have them both on at the same time terefor you have to do it custom for the birds I've looked forever for a good kit with no luck.

Well I did it. I ordered my first set of HIDs for Scarlett.

8000K. I will pick up a set of LED corners at some point to match.

Now if only I could find a deal on some housings to match!
