Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I love the intake, definitely not trying to hide that, just the valve cover area, all the fuel lines and wireing.
Got a good method of polishing the intake while on the car? Or maybe just the 3800 and the lines that run down it and paint the rest of it black or something?
for just the letters? It doesn't take much to polish them up. 400 or so would be fine and then some metal polish.
If you are doing the whole intake manifold then you would work your way up from 220, 400, 1000 or so. But then again there are different ways to doing it also depending on tools and machines that you have access too.

Thanks Travis, Im going to go get some 400 try that, I got some downtime for the next few hours before I have to go pick my boss up at the airport.
yea it shouldnt take more than 5 minutes to polish,i had mine polished. then i had the bright idea of using a permanant black marker to mark them black, worked for a short time and that faded. So then I thought hey, why not just paint them with a brush red, paint ate through the cup i was using and dripped on a bracket and on the intake. Some paint thinner later and a lot of sanding and im back to just the polished letters. Clean looking is the best route on a stock motor lol
