ground effects are just small body kits, they are designed to make a car look lower and like a sportier car

factories started teh ground effects to please the sport compact people (real ground effects, which are not on many cars from teh factory, as ground effects hang lower than teh lowest point on the car)

Ok. I think you guys are getting a litte too excited about this. I think ricers have some good ideas once in a while. I mean before I got my fbody, I was going to buy a Nissan 300ZX TT and pimp the crap out of it. I intend to put a Wings West on my car. If I could find some nice ones, I probably swap out my taillights too. Geezus man. Let the kid play around with design ideas on his ride. I mean if it looks like crap, we can all laugh. If it looks alright, somebody else may want them. Either way, relax. I agree with B, ricer is somebody who doesn't have a toyota supra w/ $100,000 in it. Thats called a professional drift car. Ricer is somebody who buys an '89 eagle talon and and puts Enkei and Streetglow stickers all over, yet they dont have any of this stuff. Thats rice. Relax homies. It's cool.
