Are you gonna shade the whole tailight? Might look sick if you only shaded the red and left the reverse light untinted.

Eh..not so much of a detailer, I've just done enough painting to know what to do. If sanding didn't suck so much I'd consider doing it on the side...oh..and it would help to have a barn to do it in!

          I think that's what I'm gonna do. I really like the look of Joel's car. It's a purty LT1.

Thanks for the help everyone. I'll wait til the weather warms up and have another go at it. Trial and error, I guess.

On a side note, how's it look? Does it flow with the car? I was thinking blue inserts on it also to go along with black stripes and black rims in the future.

Blue Camaro inserts on the black panel with tinted tails. Then black stripes, black rims, and clear/black side markers and clear/black corners.

                    thanks!

I would do either blue inserts, or stainless steel (chrome) inserts. I think id go with blue since i dont think you have much chrome.

You want specifics? Uh oh. Well I know what stripes I want, the 35th Ann. style:

As for wheels, something Corvette. Not quite sure exactly which ones yet. Probably these:

                      Not in 20" though...

word of advice, and you might just not have posted the right stripes... but i would do black stripes if you are gonna have black wheels (paint the t-bar black too). If youre going to go the silver stripe route, then i would get chrome C6s to match, and possibly the camaro inserts too.

either way, cant go wrong with C6s, they look great on 4th gens.

Yeah, I couldn't find a picture of a darker car with black stripes so I just found a blue one. I really, really don't care for the blue/silver combo. It looks too cliché imo.
