  • Condensation in reverse light

Does anybody else have issues with condensation in a reverse light?? How do you get rid of it?? I was once told to drill small holes somewhere in the housing. Is there a better solution?

its a bad seal. you'll have to take it apart and let it dry out. then check the seals where the bulb goes into the housing.

Could be the bulb seal, could be the seal between the outer lens and the housing.

Don't drill unless you have no other option...that's only a band aid...it will come back...

Take the bulb out on warm sunny day and it should dry right up and then check the seals, my right clear corner condences all the time so I ussually pop the bulb out and it dries right up.

if we bother to try and fix'em - then the assembly gets pulled and blownout with an air hose then we run a bead of silicone around the edges
