Well, if you swap into the V6 insurance will be cheaper since they go by VIN! But resale will be hurt because it wasn't originally a V8 car or a Z28.

      insurance isn't an issue

what does the v6 look like underneath?

id much rather swap a drivetrain than do body work.

the RS has two dent (one of decent size) on pass 1/4 panel and the rocker panels are bent in the front (looks like some idiot jacked the car up on the rocker!)

RS would need body work too, but not as much as the Z28

Here are some pics of what you can expect to do on that Z28. This is after this old bag in an Avalanche backed into me in a parking lot...

I found these on my photobucket. I may have more if I can find them, but at lease you can see what needs to be done to replace that 1/4.

You know the drill alex.... Pics or ban....

Damn Ben! Looks like a ton of work! I know understand why if I have my volume up over 5 I can hear every damn word outside my car. I didn't know there was a hole that traveled all the way down into the quarter panel

Thanks ben, how much downtime did the car have?

I was thinking and my problem is the Z is the DD so i'm not sure i'll be able to fix myself

thanks guys, i put ALOT of work into this over the last 4 days, removed/installed clips twice, pulled drivetrain, swapped interiors twice

Paint: Rattle Can for a temp unified color tomorrow, then the paint shop in March (no sense getting it painted just to have to drive it in the salt)

these are the rims AS OF NOW that i will be using unless i find another set for cheap that are better
