I think there's too much damage underneath to just pull it out like you want. I take it you sold your Avenger and the TA so you can't drive either of those? You really need a hammer and dolly to get a large portion of those areas straight even after you pull them out. Is there someplace you can rent a body hammer from? Eastwood has a real nice setup that welds studs on then you use the body hammer to pull out the dents. Most of the traditional ones you drill holes then pull them out that way. Don't use Bondo unless it's for final topcoat to fill MINOR imperfections. For large areas or holes you'll want to either weld or use Tiger Hair which has fiberglass strands and is a LOT stronger than bondo.

Yeah - always nice to be able to see a car that has bondo, nothing like a wavy finish, eh?

I don't really agree with this... I understand if its like 1/4 inch thick it will look like crap... But for instance project crate camaro off muscle car... They used bondo on that... Go pop in on the guy in Grand rapids.... i can guarantee you its a beautiful paint job.

No no no, I mean if you slop it on - or use it excessivly, it produces waves.

If it's a thin layer, which you technically should do, then it looks great.

Getgone is right, go to your local finish master, usually they carrya slide hammer, which is used to pull out major dents, then use the dent and finish hammers to work the metal to a better shape. Bondo can be used with excellet results, that nobody will be able to tell that bondo was ever used. When sanding bondo it is usually best to do it by hand, and you need to sand with the curves of the body, don't sand horizontal or vertical, sand with the body lines. But MP81 is right, thin coats are the best, you don't want 4 inches of bondo, bondo is a scratch and surface filler, not a dent filler. I had to pull out both rear quarters on my car, and the only way people know is if i tell them, or if they've seen pics on the net
