        • I have to do a few coats still and work more on getting the damn silver primer to not show up in the cracks, but otherwise it's *almost* ready for clearcoat!

              • For clear coat I use Duplicolor's Top Coat Clear Coat, the can I use is up with the SUV/Truck paints... for black and clear I use the SUV/Truck size cans because they're larger and will last me longer. I know Murrays carries it, not sure of other places. I'm using all exterior automotive paint, though.

                      • Note: On the passenger side that I just painted, in one or two pics there's grey on the black... that's just dust from the primer when I was peeling the tape off, I didn't see it until I got inside and loaded the images onto the comp.

New things but not so noticable -- I painted all the vents on the driver's side to match the panel that they're in. Red vent for the knee bolster, black vents for the gauge cluster surround. I think that makes it look much better. I also painted the bezel for the defrost button on the knee bolster, I wish I could do something with the defrost button but I figured painting it red would look cheap. And of course, the passenger side dash is now glossy black. The pics suck since it's so dark in the garage, but you get the jist. I love how it looks so far.

                          • looks very nice and shiney!...what about the A-pillar's? are they going shiney black too?

It's coming together very nicely so far though!...the red vent on red bolster and black on black flows very well with eachother!
