Well, it's not perfect, which is fine with me.. I wanted to fix the rust spot and have it look "stock" and I think it came out aight. I have a lot of little stuff to fix, but no problem.

Yeah, I got a lot of little stuff to fix and detail, and probably tomorrow or Thursday I'll work on polishing and waxing it just to get it even better, the engine bay is also horribly dirty right now.

I agree. I am jealous now, but instead of paint, the best under-hood appearance modification is going to be the appearance of an LT1 V8 lol Looks excellent, Brian. I am going to go a different route with mine though. I think gloss black on everything except the engine would look nice on my car, with some subtle orange accents here and there. I'll stop there, I don't want to hi-jack your thread lol Keep up the great work, and keep us posted!

Hey, Brian- When you do your engine swap, what color are you gonna paint the engine?

When I actually swap the engine and have it out, then I'll be painting it black like I originally wanted to do. Alas with my tape job, I couldn't paint it a different color, and as it is the lines where I painted are a little more obvious than I thought they'd be, so I just have to take the time to wet sand and polish and such to get rid of the obviousness.

lol that sux doesn't it? I had that same problem when I repainted my engine compartment last winter.

Oh and just a quick question did you do all that with spray paint?

Si senor. Everything I do is spraybomb, I don't have a compressor or air gun. I'll have to take some high quality pics of my knee bolster that I spraybombed, it came out REALLY good... it's all about prep.
