Yeah, so did my dad. Devilbiss is a really nice gun, but he decided to sell it back to the dealer when he started his new job. I love my Sata, it has laid down some of the slickest garage paint jobs I have ever seen. I'm going to use it to paint the front end of my 'maro in the driveway this spring. Garage is too full of crap lolNick H.

Yep. I'll agree with that, but to me there is no greater reward than the one you get by knowing that you did something that others usually pay to have done. I love to learn to do new things, which is why I'm painting my own car.Nick H.

I have sprayed some before, and the results I have gotten are better than any Maaco job I have ever seen. I'll post up some pics. Plus, if the paint runs or anything, there are ways to fix it without having to respray. I know my way around a paint booth pretty well lol I'm going to break out the gun in a couple of months to fix the paint on my car, I'll let you know how it turns out!Nick H.

Do it! Get the flawless $2000 paint job! I'll be looking into a new paint job soon enough. . . Not one that cost's more than I paid for the car, though! lolNick H.

Yeah but most people here didn't pay anywhere near 2 grand for their f body. That price sounds great to me.Doing less with more

I only paid $1100 for mine, but I will have put in a good $2000 in repairs, the engine swap, new suspension, and materials to repaint it by the end of the year.Nick H.

what kinda paint are you going to use? ive become a big fan of acrylic lately its fairly cheep and easy to apply with a good hardner last forever... i think when i go to repaint mine im going to use it again.. i still have alot of canary yellow acrylic left over but not really feeling that for my car... thinking im going to keep it looking stock..Originally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. But it's not exactly street legal, so keep it on the down low.
