So, updates! ktl711 got ahold of Jake's and we have a date - September 14th!

We need a minimum of 12 cars paid up front (the typical $50 for two pulls, as we've done in years past), and we're good to go. Tell your friends!

I'll get an "official" post up here, and on Facebook, shortly, once we sort out which Pay Pal we'll be using.

So, an update.

As of now, 8/13, we have five people pre-registered. We'll need to have 12 people pre-registered by 8/30 or, unfortunately, we'll have to call the event and give Jake's time to make other plans.

I know there was interest, but the pre-registration doesn't seem to support that...

I would love to do this. It's the week after Frankenmuth, so that's good. But it's also the same day as the last (?) USMA Charity Car Show at Golling Buick/GMC, and our Widetrackers club meeting.

What time of day do they do the dyno pulls?

Just asked ktl711 if he could find out, regarding Dr. Phil. I know Lucky SOB had asked on Facebook.

As far as the Corvettes forum goes, I'd say as long as they're cool guys and there won't be like 300 yeses (boy, that word looks weird, doesn't it), then go for it! I always love myself the sight/sound of a good Corvette.
