What's even more remarkable was I actually got up at 5am this morning!

Traffic was pretty bad, but we were on the first boat out to Ellis Island this morning. It was pretty cool, and then on to Liberty Island and the statue. pretty awe inspiring.

Worst part of the day when we missed our turn coming out of the Holland Tunnel into NYC and ended up driving the Trail Blazer in downtown Mahattan. now, that traffic REALLY sucks!

We were "lost' in downtown New York City for about an hour and a half before we finally found our way out of there. Whew!

Tonight we're staying in Riverhead, NY out on the east end of Long Island. Tomorrow we're taking a ferry from Long Island, to new London, CT. We'll stop to tour some mansions in Newport, RI before stopping for the night in Hyannis, MA, on Cape Cod.

BreAnna is having a great time. This is the first summer that she has not been laid up after some major surgery. (She'll be 7 in August)

Hi Guys,

Still having a great time. Today we took the Cross Sound Ferry from the far east end of Long Island to New London, Conn. Very nice! The went through Newport, RI and saw some amazing 18th Century mansions. We stopped at a beach in Conn. so Bre could look for sea shells.

We're in Hyannis, MA (Cape Cod) tonight and will be going out to Marthas Vineyard and Nantucket islands tomorrow. Going on Whale Watch cruise on Friday.
