It was nice meeting you guys who I actually got to speak with. It was a good turnout. I left about 4:15 and they still hadnt given out the trophys for the car show. It did start raining pretty hard there for a while. Hope to see and talk to you guys again soon. I felt a little outta place with the only Firebird, but it was cool.

      HI Mike,

It was nice to meet you today, too. It's always nice to be able to put a face to the names we read on here, everyday!

Wow, rain? We left at what? About 3pm or so, and it was dry all the way back to G.R.
RIP Doug,You will always be remembered

It started raining about 10 to 4 and just kept coming down harder. Rick and I left the same time as Mike did...about 4:15 or so and it rained on and off till we got to 131 then a few miles south and it cleared up and is nice and sunny at my house. Now I gotta wash the car! I'm waiting for Stacie's friends to get here then we're off to the Barry County fair and the demolition derby!

That was a pretty good show...nice to see some of the club members out having fun....even after the rain started. Carrie and I continued our trek northward (to deliver the LS1 block) in rain the whole way...sucked. We had to stop once because so much water collected inside the wheels it was causing the car to shake pretty severe. Made for a very miserable drive.:thumbsdo:

                    Hey Rick,

I'm glad you're having a good time, and fittin' right in!

BTW, I'm just outside Newark, NJ as I type this at a Holiday Inn Express (I'm sure I'll be much smarter because of staying here! LOL) We took our Granddaughter to the Hershey Experience today. She wanted to see where Hershey Kisses were made. It is a pretty cool place, but of course, VERY commercial. We're heading to the Statue of Liberty tomorrow.

                      • James, you should have worked for Delphi! LOL ........... on second thought, it's not all that funny. I never expected my career at "GM" to end this way, or this soon. Sometimes it's very strange how things work out ...........
