Talk about a slap in the face! To sneak in then & then brag about on here. Ben if you wanted to park in the park with the rest of us then you needed to pay the $28 for drivers class. This show is Very Expensive show to put on and if you want to take part in the festivities you need to pay like everyone else. If not, be a spectator and park your with the spectators. As far as I'm concerned you OWE $28 to Camaro Superfest! When will we be receiving it!

You're alittle confused. 06Camarodude is named Nick. Ben's account name is Phoenix Rising, and he has a red Firebird.

Um yeah. You are a little confused! I am Ben AKA the only guy to show up to a Camaro Show sporting a Firehawk Tshirt. I drive Firebirds not Camaros. I was the guy complimenting you on your air ride remember. I wasn't even aware that Nick had moved his car until the judging was 1/2 over. He was trying to find me to have me take a picture of his car next to the Katech car. I parked my car next to a Z06 last week to get a pic myself. Nick wasn't showing his car. He would of had no chance against any car there. In any case, I am a little upset that you are posting inflamatory statements about a situation that obviously you were unsure of the details. If it were a problem it should have been handled at Superfest not here imo. Also the cars were not taped off like at the Nesting of the Birds or other major show. I saw other cars coming through besides Nick's and some included members of your own club. So please for the continued sanity of all of us put this behind you. I mean isn't a little rediculous to charge a person $28 to take a picture with a car? I thought this event was meant to share the love of camaros with others I guess I was wrong. Maybe next time I will be sure not to attend Superfest.

Thanks, Ben. I was only there to see what other people had done to their cars, not to rob anyone. I just wanted to get a picture nect to the first 640 hp Camaro I'd ever seen. I was parked there for all of 30 minutes, and even other members of your club pulled through the unguarded entrance without paying the entrance fee. I really appreciate knowing who my friends are. Obviously not the ones who call me a douchebag for not spending money I don't have. . . It's called Ben and I are trying to rebuild our cars, every spare penny goes into getting ready for next year's CSF, which I will not be attending. Pulling onto the grass wasn't even something I was going to do until Brian and Angie said that they didn't think anyone would care. If I'm going to pay anything, when is the judge going to come judge my car? When am I going to get my dash plaque? $28 for 1/2 hour of parking on a spot of grass is unrealistic. SEVERAL others did it, and I think I deserve an apology for the names I was called. I would have been glad to move my car back out where it was if anyone said anything to me, but the people at the show, actual people who were participating in the running of the show, saw me pull in without paying, and not one of them said a word to me. I was there for a good time, and I had one. For those of you who still think I'm a douchebag, you're entitled to your opinion. If it continues, I'm going to have to leave the site. I thought this was a community oriented group, but I have never had anyone in my community treat me half as rudely as some of the people here.

                    Okay, Nick
All of the cars that were in our club already paid for their entry fee. You are allowed to come and go as you please. I'm sure one of the cars you saw was mine...due to the fact that I came in and out several times, heading back to the hotel for something we needed for the show. There were TWO DIFFERENT CLASSES: Judged-$35, Driver-$28. So the $28 that was collected for the cars permitted to park in the park was not for them to by judged, but for THEM TO COME IN AND ENJOY THEMSELVES, AMONGST OTHER ENTHUSIASTS.
From what we have read on the site so far, it comes acrossed like you flat out knew that you were supposed to pay a fee ($28 ) to enter the park, otherwise you should have parked and stayed in the spectators parking.
This is show is put on by our club, therefore we offer our club members the opportunity to work for the entry fee. And believe my we work our asses off to make this show the best it can possibly be. Now when certain people feel they don't have to pay to get in, what does that say to the rest who have already paid to enjoy their weekend. It's not like it's a lot of money. Not to mention it all goes towards a good cause (THE RONALD MCDONALD FOUNDATION).

AND AS FAR AS GETTING YOUR GOODY BAG AND A DASH PLAQUE, SEND YOUR MONEY IN, AND I WILL PERSONALLY MAIL THEM TO YOU!

Good lordy, I hang out with Angie for the afternoon and shit hits the fan.

First, while I know tempers were flaring, no one has any right to call a fellow MiFbody member's Camaro a piece of shit. Not on this site. 'Nuff said.

Secondly, same with last statement, no matter what tempers are going on, no one has any right to call anyone a douschebag just because they're a highschool student with no job and trying their best to make the best of the cars that they have. Not on this site. 'Nuff said.

Thirdly, Nick, you have to admit that it was bad judgement to try and brag about "sneaking in" to park with everyone when you know that "the man at the gate" is a fellow club member, and registered on this board. I'm sure you didn't realize it, but regardless doing something that you felt was wrong and then going and bragging about it on the site that they visit isn't exactly the wisest of decisions.

Last, for the situation that caused all this. I take full responsibility for Nick's actions. It was about 1pm during the downpour, Nick said he wanted to get the picture, everyone was already leaving the park, and I said "Sure, I don't think they'd mind seeing as the show is wrapping up." So, Nick pulled in and parked his car next to the LS7 Katech Camaro and took pictures, and quite literally soon thereafter the awards ceremony started. I didn't think parking in the location for that amount of time on Sunday at 1pm after seeing a handful of cars all leaving the park due to the rain would cause such an uproar, and it's my fault for allowing him to park with us. If you want, give me a paypal address and I'll paypal the $28 to the address on Nick's behalf. I'm sorry if you guys felt slapped in the face by allowing Nick to park with us, that wasn't the intentions at all. Anyway, quit picking on Nick, give me a paypal address and I'll pay for his $28 myself.

My mother, Co-Chairwomen of Camaro Superfest) is standing behind me reading the post. While we would not give anybody the boot for coming into the show in the last hour to get a picture of any of the astonding cars in the show; the fact that he boasted about sneaking in the park is appaulling to her (mom).

                          My turn
If you knew that you didn't have the money to enter (which you did), we could have worked something out. Next year come talk to my mom (Jan Boyer) and confront her with your intentions, that way you don't make yourself come across as an a$$.

                          Okay my mom says
Enough has been said. You can live with your guilt!

As my dad would say to me:
I'm not mad at you son, I'm just disappointed!

With the addition to Alan's input now, I think everyone has had their fair share of input on the situation. Drop it. Like I said, I assume responsibility, if anyone feels the urge to continue talking about it, shoot me a PM and I'll be happy to talk about it there. Same with the paypal address. Just keep it off the main boards, it doesn't look good for guests to see a bunch of bickering back and forth. This site is meant to be a friendly community where everyone feels welcome, and when a member is wanting to leave due to being ganged up on, that's where I have to come in and be the ugly administrator and start throwing my weight around (those that saw me at Superfest know how freakin scrawny I am, so trust me it's NOT something I like to do). I didn't create this site to do that, so please everyone I'm asking you to just drop this or take it to PMs.

There actually is! There's a few but the one that's coming up is in Dayton, Ohio. Trans Am Nationals. Angie and I will be heading to that one, I told her it's only fair after going to Superfest with me.
