On the way to the hotel for the banquet Saturday after the show there were some kids that had put up a sign along side the road that read in big letters "CAMAROS SUCK!" then in smaller letters under that "unless they roast them off!" I had to oblige them since the 6 cars in front of me were too lame to defend the Camaro's honor. I had the AC on max so I didn't light em up as nicely as I would have liked but these new Toyo Proxies T1S tires sure do howl when you turn em over! I guess I stayed out of trouble other than that.

The Concept that was at the show was the Red one. It was only a rolling chasis. It had no engine, I don't think it even had the interior, just an illusion. But it was still pretty kick A$$.

Maybe this should go in the "Kill Stories" section?

Anyway, I'm on my way back to Wyoming (Grand Rapids) after wrapping everything up at CSF. There's cops all over I-96 so I'm only running about 80mph and keeping a close eye on the Valentine 1. Somewhere around Lansing, I notice a red Mustang in my mirror. The traffic is fairly heavy, so when a clear stretch opens up, I pop it up to about 100-110mph. The Mustang stays pretty close, and I eventually let her by as we get into traffic again. It's a woman and her young teenage son. I see it's got an SVT emblem on the back, so it's not just another V6 or GT. Hmmm ... interesting, and it seems she's not afraid to run it.

We finally get past Portland, and the traffic clears up again. I drop the Hot Rod down into 5th gear, and mash the gas (we were running about 90, by now). I pull around her and keep it matted. Pretty soon, I'm opening up an ever widening gap, and by the time I hit 145mph, I'm about 1/4 mile out front.

I figure I've made my point and slow back down to what seems like a crawl, 80mph. As they go by, the son is waving out the window and giving me a thumbs up.

It sure made the ride back to west Michigan a little more interesting!
RIP Doug,You will always be remembered

So if you make one more reference to me being responsible for any accident you will regret it! I swear. On top of that you have already been in multiple accidents! Remember when you hit your dads Aurora!!! So don't make judgements about my driving when you are no better! I have had 1 accident in 5 years you have had over 5 accidents in 2 years! So STFU!!!

I apologize to the thread starter but I had to clear this up! Now back to Superfest!!!
Sorry to insult you, I was only kidding. No more references about the accident, alright? I think I owe you that much. I removed that statement from my post.

I'm not trying to stir the pot more but maybe you should also remove the link to your cardomain site from your sig or remove this text bit from the cardomain site? I think he feels bad enough already w/o the continous public reminders.

                      UPDATE:
On my way to a car show with a good friend, we were driving along I-696 EB, only about 20 miles to go in our 200 mile trip, and we hit a traffic jam. Traffic stopped, and I went off the side of the road, so did he. He couldn't stop in time, and he hit me. His Firebird and my Camaro are pretty banged up now, but I now have the proper incentive to get my car fixed up right and completely. I'll post up some pics of the damage later, I don't have any on my computer yet.

Ben wrote that. I gave him my password for my cardomain. Look at his, his says just about the same thing. Ben, if you want my CarDomain changed, I'll change it. Tell Jen I'm sorry too.

Maybe those 6 "lame" Camaros in front of you chose to be the bigger person and not give in to childish games. They are Camaros they have nothing to prove! The name says it all. Also, some of those "lame" Camaro owners probably would rather not pay out the ass for insurance because they chose to do something so stupid in a strange town!!!
