I sure hope you have gotten rid of all the pop in the house already, no need for any temptations.

Thanks everyone, getting her home has lowered the stress level around here for sure. I finally got a full nights sleep last night. First time since she went in the hospital.

We still have 5 cases of Diet Cherry Coke in the house, but those are going back to the store today. She has not had any Coke since the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and has not had any desire to have any, either. So far it's been ice water and a glass of juice once in a while. She went through the caffeine withdrawal while she was out-of-it, on the respirator, so that was "lucky" (in a weird kinda way). She does not drink coffee either (nor do I), so the caffeine is simply gone from her diet.

Right now our focus is on getting her stronger and more mobile. We have a water bed (old hippies that we are) which is hard for her to get in and out of, so we set-up a twin bed in the living room for a while to make it easier for her.

Now I can start to get back to the dozen projects I have around the house.
RIP Doug,You will always be remembered

            Thank You !!!!!!!

We just got a wonderful surprise! One of our local florists, just dropped off a beautiful bouquet of flowers to Anita from our MiFbody family.

To Brian and everyone involved, Thank You very much. Anita was surprised and very happy to get these flowers. We certainly cherish all of our friends on this website. Anita does not post on here, but I keep her filled in on all the "happenings", so she knows most of you, by name at least. (and many of you personally as well)

Admittedly, I wanted to do it while she was in the hospital but I didn't have the address or know how long it'd be before they discharged her to return home. When I saw that she was home, I pulled up your M&G registration and put it to good use.

(and you can thank Gary for confirming that it was indeed the right address - I used mapquest to pull up the address because I vaguely remembered your house in correlation to the court when we came over to see the LT, but when I mapquested it showed your address as being near the corner)

Yeah, some days I'm like 3 a day, still too much for me, I try to throw some milk and a lot of water in there.

Take some pics of the flowers too - I know it wasn't the biggest bouquet but I've always had great luck going with Flowers.com.
