    , not Matt Berger.

And yes, this is one major reason Berger did not go back to Matt Murphy/GMMG for their 5th Gen Berger Camaro.

I feel really bad for you , Derek. I know it's been a very long road filled with frustrations. I feel bad for Matt Murphy, too. He's always been a good friend to me. I know he's had a ton of personal problems and issues, but that's no excuse for the delays and especially the lack of communication.

I hope you get your car back soon. Say "hi" to Matt from me.

Sorry for the confusion, I thought my posts were more clear.

I did talk to Matt today, he is back on the road and I think he is headed in a positive direction to getting this transaction completed.

I don't have anything against Matt, I think he is truely trying his best to get the car back to me. I would love to do buisness with him again but I think I would just pick up the car myself or go through a dealer. Matt is very talanted and his ideas for the projects are awesome.

are you kidding!? just after reading this I would NEVER do business with Matt, this whole ordeal has been one excuse after another and has cost you more than a whole season of driving the car and I'm sure they raped you up the ass on the price as well.

If you look on Matt's website under 35th Performance Edition, you will see what they do to produce the 35th PE package. Generally The "base" packages costs around 8-9K. http://gmmginc.net/programs/PerformanceEd/
The Dick Harrell 35th edition package we received is the same as the 35th PE package but now includes Headers and "split 10 spoke 17" polished aluminum wheels" (not sure what brand these are). Matt also put a lot of time into the car "restoring" too, he basically tore down the whole car and restored/replaced components as needed.

I know most of you will say, "I would never pay that much for those items, I could do that myself" but you ARE also paying to have GMMG's name on the car and I think it's worth it.

Pics, definitly! I hope to even get a video of it coming off the trailer, I can't wait to hear the Long Tube Headers and GMMG chambered exhaust in harmony!!

At this point, (approx 3pm 10/14/09) Matt was approx 500 miles away, he should be at my shop tomorrow morning. I took the day off from work to enjoy this awesome day. I can't wait!!!

That is a hell of a deal, I should have waited till the economy was really bad to buy our Z7D.

Well, The Z7D is officially home! It feels good to have it back! Matt eventually got to our shop @ 2:45pm on 10/15/09, he didn't leave until 8:30pm, it was fun just BSing with Matt and picking his brain.

Matt and I were trying to find the source for the "non shifting into park" problem. I eventually found that the cable was not seated correctly into the transmission bracket, a new cable is on the way.

Happy to hear you have it back! I'm sure you're on cloud 9 again having it home.

What about the cable was not letting it seat correctly on the trans bracket? Did the plastic clip that holds it to the bracket break? I had that happen on mine too.

Here are some more photos, these were taken today since I had more time to really look over the car and the weather was cooperating well enough to take some outside shots. I did get to put some miles on it today too, boy was that fun!

                              small_10-17-09 055.jpg
Matt did not have any use for the "rusty" parts he removed so he gave me back all the old take-off parts. I laid them out just to get an appreciation for all the parts replaced and or upgraded. The heads were replaced with stock heads, don't ask, that's a long story.

Another shot showing all the parts replaced or upgraded.

Yup, that is exactly what was wrong. I had to "jerry rigged" it in order to drive it today.
