Our Z7D has over 19K miles, I know that adding this package on (esp since it's PE #4 matched with Z7D #4 that it can only help the value of the car. I am not looking to complete the car and turn around and sell it, I would love to keep this car for a long time, that said I don't think I am making a stupid decision.

Matt just delivered two more Harrell cars, but I know he has possibly two more that need to be completed. The problem lies in the quality of the fenders and rear flares, and the availablity in specific parts (not sure what parts).

I talked to Matt on Friday, the Z7D made it safe and sound. Matt was obviously very busy getting ready for the G12 GMMG open house so I didn't talk long.

Does anybody know of anyone who may have taken the tour through GMMG's Open house on 5/23/08? I would be curious to see some pics of our Z7D sitting in Matt's shop. I can't seem to find any pics floating around out there yet, maybe I have to wait a couple more days.

Check over on Chirp Third message board. I know there was a post asking who was going. I haven't looked to see if there's any pics in the thread.

I thought an update was due for this thread so here it goes, short and sweet, I hope:

As some of you know, I was getting a bit frustrated with communication to and from GMMG, mainly on the progress of things. Well after a couple of phone calls and finding out nothing has happened since May, I got an e-mail from Matt stating they are now (8/15/08) starting to work on it and need me to call, okay so a couple of calls and voice mails later still no direct contact with Matt. Well finally, today, I called and left another message basically stating I must hear from Matt, today.

Matt called back today and I got an update: Matt found areas on the underside that were not up to par (rust) which I knew about but he has taken the time to completely dissassemble everything, remove the rusty areas and re-spray these areas. Matt has basically rebuilt the whole underside and is now currently working on detailing the engine bay! I get the feeling that he probably had no idea this Z7D would be this big of project (esp. with only 19K on the ODO). Well to make a long story short, he also found some issues with the LS1 which may be taken care of with a possible P2X package, we'll see. All in all, I am feeling a lot better about this project and it is good to hear things are progressing.

Unfortunatly, I will not have the Z7D available for the Camaro Bash in Indy which would have been extremely fitting! Darn.

I may have some progress pics of the Z7D soon.

Well, at least you now know what's going on with the car. Too bad it won't be done for Indy. You gonna bring the '97? or the '85, or the '73???????????

Ok, This thread is way over due for an update. BUT... Unfortunately there is nothing to update on! I can't get a hold of Matt and he still has my car. Does anyone have a clue how to get a hold of him? Can anyone help me get a hold of him? This is frustrating.

Wow...almost a year he has had the car and it's STILL not done? That is HORRIBLE customer service. I can't believe this. He used to have a good reputation I thought.

Wow, if I were you, I just might be driving to the dealership and giving him a piece of my mind. Yes he builds awesome cars, but that doesn't give him the excuse to ignore customers.

Your not the first that I've heard struggling to communicate with GMMG, its a darn shame how they seem to be communicating lately. In this day and age I don't care how busy someone is, even a simple email/text message takes seconds, there is no good reason to ignore customers. I love the cars that GMMG has done, but dang, what a horrible company from a customer service/turnaround standpoint.

GMMG is not a dealer and it's quite a drive for Derek from Wisconsin to Atlanta GA.
