I agree with Kevin, don't be hard on yourself Nick. It is a tough thing to run a car club and organize events. Personal life always comes first and cars are just a hobby.

Yeah, sorry if my comment made you feel bad Nick. It wasn't meant to be a negative reflection on you nor Ben. It's just hard to get everyone moving and interested. Heck - look at MiFBody - granted we're not a club, but we have 2300 members on the site but we got 2... TWO... members to go to the Michigan MEGA Meet in MIS. I'm just as guilty since I didn't go.

Well I sure would be interested in joining in with MIFC. We mostly go to car shows, museums and cruises. We made more this year than any in the last few. I am now more retired than working and still don't have time to do everything I want.

As soon as I get access to the current member list (Or rather, once I get a chance to go over it and verify who is still "in"), I will be starting a recruitment drive. So watch for it!

Didn't I already email you the list and contact info? I'm pretty sure I sent that over a few weeks ago. . .

I like all the above choices but any time I can spend in or around a Fire bird make me happy. Scarlett will be going in for more paint work or the winter so let's make some springtime plans so I can show her off. Shadow wants to show off her new shoes I think. How about a cruise from a show to a track. We can metaphorically speaking kill two birds since most shows are early in the day and most tracks don't pen until the evening?
I'm so excited to see what ideas you guys have and to see what Mike can do with the club. I'm behind you all, he way Mike let me know how I can assist

Thanks Ben! We had our first club planning session about a week ago. We are focusing on recruiting and documenting for the next couple of months, I will be ordering new T-shirts and window decals, and planning for our first annual spring meet and greet. At the meet and greet we will get deeper into what people want from the club, lay out plans for what shows we want to attend, and so forth. At the end of the day, I want this to be OUR club, not MY club. I will be posting up a club roster soon, and then people can start bugging other Bird owners to sign up!

I think we are at 24 confirmed members now. I'll throw up a post with confirmed members later today so we can start to nudge those who have not re-committed yet, since the change in "ownership".

Really cool. Hopefully we continue to grow. This is really our first year of being active and taking our first steps to be something more than just judges for Camaro Superfest.
