Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
That we do. . . By my count, looks like we need 4 more judges and an alternate or two just in case something happens last minute again.
Ben, I went ahead and bumped you up from an alternate due to the fact that you are off work that weekend, and we still need judges. It's crunch time folks, let's make this happen! Akodo, if you wouldn't mind asking your brother if he wouldn't mind participating, I would really appreciate it.
This is a great time, folks! We have a lot of fun hanging out under the tent and working together, plus you get to see some amazing Camaros up close and personal, plus meet all sorts of people from all over the Midwest and beyond!

Pretty sure Kevin would rather have a Winnie the Pooh stuffed animal instead of a Tshirt
Maybe I could come to the event dressed like Winnie the Pooh...
No wait -- Winnie the Pooh doesn't have any pants. And he's yellow. They might end up thinking that I'm just one of their local drunken homeless bums with a bad case of jaundice.

Bump this to the top. We are getting ever closer, and I'd like to fill those last few slots soon, so we aren't panicking the week before, or even the day of, trying to figure out why we don't have enough judges.
So many bumps here, it's starting to feel like a disco!
What's the latest?
Nobody new has stepped up yet, looks like I'm going to have to call in a few favors with friends to make this happen. . . Seems like we are always short a couple judges, no matter how early we start recruiting. . .
Superfest is 10 days away, and of the many members of MIFBody who have viewed this thread, 6 have stepped up, including myself. We need 4 more judges to volunteer in the next 10 days. That's the bottom line, I'm just being honest.
To garner further interest, I will re-state the benefits offered to us by the organizers of this event:
-$100 cash paid on Sunday to each judge.
-Free admission and participation in the festivities Friday at Michigan International Speedway
-Reserved parking near the judging tents
-Meals provided (lunch Saturday and Sunday)
This has historically been a very rewarding event, we have always had fun judging the cars, and I have personally left each year having learned something new about the cars we are so passionate about.
We have been asked to return because our judges have been professional, passionate, and unbiased in the past.
So PLEASE, if you are interested in participating as a judge, call me to discuss details. You dont have to be a member of any clubs, you don't even have to own an f-body. You don't have to know anything about cars, even. Everything you need to know will be explained by myself and Barry prior to the opening of the judging lanes on Saturday morning.
Also, I need to speak to all of the judges who have already stepped up. If you guys could either PM me your phone numbers and the best time to reach you, or give me a call anytime (and I do literally mean anytime. . . I work two jobs, I'm either on the road, at work, or sleeping, none of which conditions prohibit me from speaking on the phone for 2 minutes to discuss details of the event)
My phone number is (517) 759-6904. I look forward to hearing from everyone within the next several days.
Hello everyone on MiFbody... Nick is doing a great job, but he and I/we at EMCC need your help please.
Let me also remind you that you also get a goodie bag, event dash plaque and an event t-shirt!!
If necessary, I can even probably get you a bit more money... or at least try!! AND YES, the MIS activity on Friday!!
We really need those 4 more to commit for BOTH days. As Nick mentioned in the first part of this thread, we need you there BOTH days because that is what makes the judging 100% fair - the same judges looking at the same classes of cars!!
I judged last year, and am looking forward to doing it again this year. We have a blast, and you get to get real up close and personal with the cars, as well as get a chance to talk to the owners about the mods they have done, future plans, etc. Its great fun, the food and cash is just gravy. So volunteer already!
Guys . . . if you like Camaros, and want the opportunity to get up close & personal with some of the most beautiful and well-kept examples that exist . . . you will have a great time doing this! I've done it every year since the Firebird gang started doing it, and have had a great time each and every year! Plus, if you have an F-Body, you get to drive it on the track at MIS! And even if you don't drive your car on the track, you can still go to MIS and hang with everyone and watch from just a few feet away as all those cars drive the oval. I had a great time two years ago at MIS, and got some great pictures of my car on the track!
So what's not to like? Step right up!
