I added 2 slots for "Alternate Judges", because I'd like to make sure that we are prepared for any family emergencies or scheduling conflicts that may occur. Anyone that is interested in being an alternate judge, please let me know. We've had family emergencies come up in the past, leaving us one judge short, and it would be great if there were a couple of people who could step up to the plate and help out if needed.
Judges list is up to date as of 12pm Tuesday, January 24. Thanks to all those who committed to helping out! Looks like all of the judges so far have participated in the past. This will be the 4th year for some of us! Very exciting to see some familiar faces.
If anyone is interested but believes they wouldn't do well, let me assure you, the judging criteria are spelled out very explicitly by the event organizers. The judging is based mostly on cleanliness, and anyone can handle it. I don't think any of the judges who have participated in the past would say it's difficult at all. It may be physically draining, depending on weather, but not difficult.Nick H.

I was always merciless about cleanliness on the 5th Gens, and always looking for perfection in their mods.Originally posted by Akodo View PostI had a blast judging last year as well. I'll go again if you still need some people. Lets hope its not QUITE as hot as it was last year......
I judges the 5th gens last year. It was pretty hard, how do you find flaws in cars that are at most 1-2 years old?
Mike
Here's a free couple of points for any 5th Gen (or really any Gen) owners:
If you're going to put a clear cover over something, you'd better make sure that everything I can see underneath that cover is immaculate!
I loves me my 4th Gens, but it might be best to keep me away from them for a year. Because as Brent alliuded above, I may need to work on my "carside manner..."
And to whoever gets the 4th Gens this year, a word of caution: DO NOT QUESTION THE BEAR!!!
That is all...

You're going to get either 1st or 2nd gens this year. . . That should help calm you down a bit. haha Really though, if you have a preference, just say the word, and we'll make it work.Originally posted by ktl711 View PostI was always merciless about cleanliness on the 5th Gens, and always looking for perfection in their mods.

No problem, it's a pleasure to help out, Barry. And thank YOU for inviting the Michigan Firebird Club back to participate again! We have always had a great time working with the EMCC, participating in the festivities, and getting to meet the event participants. I think I speak for all of us when I say we are proud to be a part of Camaro Superfest!Originally posted by EMCC Barry View PostTHANKS to all those who have already signed on for our Judges!!! BTT. I'd like to have my judges' list completed by the end of March, this way we won't be scrambling to find people last-minute. This is not restricted to MIFBody or MIFC members, if you have any friends who are interested and can commit to participating, please send me their contact info.Nick H.
