First off, Erik has unbanned Angie and I (not sure about Andrea and Ron, he told me I had to re-register, so try it Ron if you want) from the site. After this episode, it's questionable how much we really want to associate with them. The few people Angie has talked to inside SEMB since last night's banishment have said that they're behind Angie 100% and will park with her where ever she goes. Hot Chocolate will park with us on woodward, which means Mike will park with us on Woodward, I'm guessing Craig, John, and Rob will park with us on woodward, and I know the MiFbody peeps got our backs. I'm thinking that maybe we should just start parking at the lot south of Automotive Europe but on the opposite end of the lot (by Dominos).

The site has a lot of members, but there's only 20 or so actual members that are active and come out to the events and stuff. They advertise for anyone to register on the site, I remember a guy in California getting an invitation to join their club (back before it was "world wide") and was like "Dude, I live in California, why would I join a South Eastern Michigan club?" when he was telling me about it.

Anyway, what kinda gets at me is that they won't just step up and apologize. I know most of you regulars have seen me step up to the plate and apologize many times about other member's actions, my own actions, or anything and everything just to make people happy. Remember when I used Limp Bizkit - Rollin' as the theme song for that Camaro video? (No offense to those involved...) I really didn't need to apologize for that, it's just a matter of one's taste, but to make everyone happy I took it down and apologized for using the song. I think it takes more cajones to be able to stand up and publically say "You know what, we might not agree with the subject, but regardless I'm sorry that you feel that way and I'm sorry if I offended anyone." I've done it in the past, hell I've begged members to stay on other sites [ProjectCamaro.com] when one member was irritated by another member. Did I have to stick my neck out? No, not really, but I still did, and that member still is on that site posting happily and contributing to their site.

What also annoys me is that they banned their only to true "Female" members. It almost seems sexist, Andrea and Angie are the only two that are in the club because of the car that they own. Jen comes around every now and then, but I haven't even seen her on the site. Regardless, though, Andrea and Angie really didn't even do anything... Ron and I were the ones sticking up for both of them, and in return all four of us get banned.

It just holds true my feelings of why I love having this site. You guys have always been a great group of people to hang out with. Since we're not a club, there's a more open feeling and less drama. No management to complain about trash talking, no management embezzling money from the club, no crappy meet-up times at 3:30 on labor day weekend at one of the busiest spots in the park, and most of all, no real drama. If you have something to complain about, you can complain to me. The sponsorship money that MiFbody gets goes 100% to the site and the site's events, none of it into my pocket -- only to then charge a membership dues. Our meetup spots have reserved pavillions and are guaranteed a spot. The drama that happens is short and quick, and resolved very quickly.

In any case, don't start anything on their site. Keep it here, and leave it here. I'm not posting it to start a "club war" or anything like that.

Wow is there a way I can delete my own SEMB account? I've never really posted there but after this incident I would rather not be associated with them. I am sorry that had to happen after you guys spoke so well of SEMB. I can't believe what they said about Angie. Angie is such a wonderful and friendly person. Me and Jen had an awesome time with Angie at Superfest being the only Firebird people there. Angie: Me and Jen love you!!! You are the greatest!

Hating on women seems a little to me! I always thought S.E. MI. "Boys" sounded flaming but...

Just glad I did not have Jen join for when she got her '07 Monte, I would hate to see what they would come up with.

P.S. Jen says that those SEMB Jerks are just jealous that they can't get a woman like Angie!

Plus an apology at this time would be moot. If they feel that way about me/us they feel that way. They are entitled to their opinion. My point is either way they feel they should own it, but they haven't and they won't. In fact I was sent an email that said "No hard feelings". What? U freaking slam me behind my back, then when you get busted and called out on it you act as if nothing is wrong? Of course there are hard feelings, but I made it 40 years without them, I'm pretty sure I can go another 40.

I agree, Ron. As far as I'm concerned, what it really boils down to -- in the recent weeks, it was mostly MiFbody that was coming out to Auto Europe. So, I'll stop calling everyone out to Auto Europe and we'll meet at a different lot. Angie will call her friends to meet us at the different lot, and Erik can feel the fallout of it all. My whole thing, if you're going to talk about someone behind their back, you have to be prepared for the consequences when you get caught saying what you said.

i have been gone from here for about a week and see alot of stuff has happened in 5 days and i can't beleive this sorry to hear about that brian and angie along with any other people who may have been put down

to tell you the truth the first week i went out to woodward it seemed all the semb guys werent to friendly toward alot of ppl , but i know all the mifbod ppl ive meant that week and the weekend after have been cool as hell and really friendly

I wanted to see how SEMB would react to this.
When Brian called me last night and said that He, Angie, Andrea, and Ron were all banned from the site, I was Floored.
These are the only SEMB members besides Pete Jill Rob and John that bothered to show up at the Dreamcruise spots that I saved for SEMB.

If you include Dan Daryl and Mike with the rest of the people mentioned above then you will see that the core SEMB group that actually showes up on Woodward has now decided to Leave

I am sure that Rob and John will back me up on this.

A New Group is on it's way Stay Tuned.

Cool good to hear Craig! You're right tho these convo's DO happen this I know. But, again to beat a dead horse....THEN OWN IT if that's they way you feel..........is all I'm saying. If you don't want us around then you don't. I'm not faulting anyone for that.....hell I get on my own nerves every now and again! lol Just say it tho, don't hide cus now you feel like a baffoon cus yo were caught!

However, Craig you guys (You, Pete, plus respective wives, Jill, Rob, Crazy John, etc...) have never left me feeling anything but welcomed. Again this year we pulled in and you accomodated us without hesitation! Thank you once again!
