Hello... please don't count EMCC and CSF-08 out just yet!! Many here are talking like it's a done deal and that is far from the truth. The only thing that is true is that WMCC will not be a co-host if there is a CSF-08. It was vey sad to see the decision be made. Yes, EMCC has a big decision to make and club commitment is being polled at the present time. We also have other options, getting another Camaro club in as a new co-host, maybe having a reduced event of some type... Maybe we'll even open up to you, the general Camaro community, the opportunity to help and keep CSF going. Even WMCC members are welcome back to help if they wish too! Our usual compensation is free entry into the show and maybe we can increase that. We know that we need to keep next year going and when the new Camaro is out in early 2009, CSF and all Camaro events should show a resurgance in attendance. Yes, we have had reducing attendance for about 4-5 years, but so has everyone else! As you can see by this post, myself and several others are busy still planning for a CSF-08. We still feel strongly that the event has not run it's course and even if attendance were to go down some more, CSF is a great event that many enjoy and look forward to attending. If our hopes for membership commitment are not fulfilled, then we have all lost a great event and a few of us lost some planning time. I urge you all to keep the faith and have faith that we will find a way to have CSF-08. Just because WMCC has decided not to continue to be a co-host, does not doom the event. CSF has been a two club event and each club has done a great job for the 16 years we have held the event, but EMCC will try very very hard to make a CSF-08 happen. Please stay tuned for more information and plans!
            Thanks,

Good to see you on here, Barry.

I sure hope that it keeps going, if I had more time I'd volunteer MiFbody to cohost.
