I purchased my F-body in November of 2005 form a private seller in Bloomingdale, MI. He had owned it for 8 years but never got around to restoring her. After I trailered my new prize home, I got to work degreasing the engine bay. I replaced valve covers, intake manifold, timing chain cover, plug wires, and dressed the engine up with hose covers and wire looms. In April of 2007 the car went to body and paint, my wife's cousin's husband is a professional body/paint man who specializes in classic cars. I told him to "take his time", he finished the car in October, took 6 months to complete but he did it right and it was worth the wait. I had the wheels refinished and put B.F.G.'s on. Once the car was back in my garage, I installed the floor insulation, wired in a CD/FM/AM/MP3 player, new carpet, new seat covers, new headliner, redyed the interior plastic trim, new brake and accelerator pads, new door panels, new truckmat, etc. (You get the idea-alot!) I continue to find items for the car, and do all the repair work myself, to me that is half the fun of owning these cars-besides Crusin'
