    2010 mifbody banner competition

As you are all noticing the Mifbody site is going through some radical changes lately with the new vb4. With this fresh new site I think it would be would be nice to incorporate a new site banner. What better way to do it than to call upon our numerous artists here on the site to submit your rendition of the banner here to be included in a competition. A deadline has not been set yet but there will be voting.

Winning banner will be showcased at the top of the site!!!
Winner will also recieve a mifbody t-shirt or hoodie in their size complements of Meissen

Updated Guidelines as of 1/7 10:30pm

What I want is banner BAR instead of just a logo. I want something that will span across the top where the header is black.
    * The logo must consist of separate 2 image files - a left and a filler background image.
    * Left logo should have the state of Michigan in it (upper and lower peninsulas)
    * Left logo should have Michigan FBody Association in it - DOES NOT HAVE TO HAVE MIFBODY.COM...
    * Left logo should have a spot for the RotM and possibly RotY if you can fit it and make it look good.
    * Filler background image should be the same background as the Left Logo.

    Image Dimensions:
Left: Up to 600 wide by 140 tall
Middle: 50 wide by 140 tall

    HAVE FUN and BE CREATIVE!!

Looking forward to see what you come up with!

submit banner photos below for consideration

Sorry for the delay guys. Just been overwhelmed with school and work. I'm actually getting stuff at work so I haven't been able to be *as active* as usual during the day and with 3 nights of class this semester (as compared with 2 nights physical classroom and 1 online class I usually do), just haven't been in the mood to sit on the computer too much during the weekend. Been putting a lot of stuff off the past few weeks. It's funny how when you know you're behind in one or two things, you (or atleast I) tend to push everything off.

  • ZL1 IVER at the 2011 Meet & Greet
    by meissen
Major thanks to GM and the dedicated Camaro team for bringing not only the ZL1 but also the 45th Anniversary Edition Camaro to our show yesterday. I'm sure everyone who wasn't at the show has already seen the pictures, but it still deserves it's own thread. The camouflage is on to hide the body lines from all the photographers when it's being road tested at the Milford Proving Grounds. While I'm not 100% positive, I believe this might have been one of the first times that the ZL1 has been shown...

So there I am flipping through my recently delivered Camaro Performers magazine. I'm reading about Camaro5.com's show and other articles about events taking place. Just as I was thinking "Damn, I hope one day MiFbody gets mentioned in the article" -- yup, you guessed it!

The Michigan Fbody Association: Enriching Michigan through its Car Culture The Michigan Fbody Association is an organization of Firebirds and Camaros; the strongly dubbed mullet-mobiles affectionately known to General Motors as the F-car, thus F-body. Its members constantly remind others that the association is not a club. It is an association and it is free to join for anyone, and even those who do not own an F-body or a car at all.
