This month its Best Third Generation Fbody.

    Tenpin's 87 Pontiac Trans Am

    He Says:
I bought the car back in the summer of 2004, and it was all stock. I went all over looking for a solid 3rd gen. I even made a road trip to Kentucky to look at a 92 Camaro. Needless to say I found my car 1.5 miles away from my Brother in laws house right here in Bay City.
New stereo system all around. Custom made box in the rear that holds 2 - 12" subs, New Kenwood speakers all the way around, and a new CD player.
American Racing Torque Thrust II 17" x 8" rims
305 TPI, Edelbrock hi flow intake, Edelbrock hi flow runners, ported & polished plenum, Holley AFPR, 24# LT1 injectors, air foil, SLP cold air induction system, Crane roller Cam#104224, Crane springs #11308-1, Summit # SUM-G6601 Roller timing gear set with new polished aluminum timing chain cover. Richmond 3.73 posi rear end with updated series 3 carrier, Ceramic coated valve covers, Ceramic coated headers, and matching Y-pipe, Flow through exhaust with Flow-master muffler, A/C deleted with matching Non-A/C box. Custom tuned and dynoed.
SLP Sportline lowering springs, lowered the car approx. 2"
Eibach weld on sub frame connectors
Repainted the car in 2007, Took 2 years to get the body the way I wanted it. We did a tri coat Candy Apple Red paint job.
We shaved the door handles and the antenna, removed the side moldings from the car.
After messing up the paint job the 1st time, the car had to be totally stripped down to bare metal and we started over.
After the primer, Metallic silver base, candy paint and the clear coat, There is approx. 14 layers of paint on my car. In the mix of the new paint, I installed all new weather stripping, plus the t top weather stripping, and door felts.
I finally had the joy of driving my car for the 1st time, just in time for the 2009 MiFbody meet and greet. Where I took 1st place for best 3rd gen. (thx all!).

  • 2017 Meet & Greet - Supporting a new charity: International FPIES Foundation
    by meissen
As some of you may know, about a year ago Angie and I moved to New Haven, MI - about 30 miles northeast of Detroit. In the past year, we've met a lot of great neighbors and one of them has a very unique story. The couple who live across the street from us have a son named Elliott who is battling two extremely rare conditions. First, he has what's called "FPIES" which essentially means he has an allergic reaction any time he ingests proteins found in food. Problem is - the protein is found in almost...

  • Happy Birthday MiFBody!
    by meissen
11 years ago today our little chunk of the internet was born. Y'all know I'm a sentimental emotional guy, and this website has admittedly been one of my proudest achievements. What we have here means a lot to me - it's why I'm so passionate when it comes to trying to maintain the peace and kumbaya. This site is our spot to shoot the shit with fellow Camaro and Firebird cruisers and to get help and advice - whether it's on their car or personal lives. I know we rag on eachother a bit here and there,...

    by meissen
Alright guys, With the crappy weather, other priotities, etc I have done a piss poor job of promoting the sale of these shirts. At the end of the day, the shirts at cost were $15. The shirts were over $3,000 out of my own pocket, minus what we sold at the M&G. Now that we purchased a new house, I need to get rid of these shirts ... and fast! So here's the fire sale deal! LOCAL PICKUP - $10 SHIPPED - $15 flat We have sizes from Small to XXL. You can use the following link to purchase the sh...
