  • Welcome Matt @ Vivid Auto Detail to MiFBody

Matt recently joined the site and within the first 24 hours posted a whole slew of reviews for detailing products and tips for detailing. I can already tell he's going to be a great asset to the site. Matt doesn't sell the products he's reviewing, but he does have detailing services that he offers. Check out his website - http://www.vividautodetail.com/

Please join me in welcoming and thanking Matt for joining MiFBody as a Gold level sponsor!

    Wow Brian- you move quick!

Thank you sir. Enjoying this community a lot already. Glad I heard about the Meet N Greet and was able to find you guys. Being new to this state I wasn't sure where I'd meet a new group of car guys and gals- mission accomplished!

Nothing but a non biased knowledge base from what I can tell.. congrats to joining and I look forward to getting as much detail information from you that I can absorb!

Also I am always in the market to let someone else get dirty cleaning my Garage Queen... May have to chat about engine detail on that thing...

Sometimes too fast for my own good -- for a hot second the thread was Matt @ Livid Auto Detail, but as soon as it refreshed I realized my mistake.

              Welcome and thanks Matt!
Do you know of any store in Michigan that carry the products that you're using? I live in Canada and shipping is usually more then the product cost.
I use mostly 3m and Meg's, but looking to try other products.

No sir I don't unfortunately. That's the major problem when you get into the "Good stuff." Sometimes I think I keep FedEx and UPS in business by myself.

You really can't go wrong with Meg's pro line. Excellent stuff.

                        Hi Kammi,

                        Thanks for the warm welcome!

I *can* do most services in a mobile fashion. I do have to have a few things available: garage or covered area to work, water, and electrical access.

That being said, I prefer to do them from my location generally. This is because I know I will always have exactly what I need at arms reach, I don't have to worry about water hardness variables, I don't have to intrude on your space, and I know I have a secure and clean area in which to work.

Oh, that and not much fits in a 5th Gen trunk!
