When would I need a 10-pt cage instead of a 6-pt? You can use a thinner tube for 10-pts right?

For coupes running under 11.50 to 10.00 (and not over 135mph), NHRA requires a 6-point roll bar. For coupes running 9.99 to 8.50, NHRA requires a 10-point roll cage.
