its BS the state gets away with charging you that much for street racing, when thats probably not even what it was. A street race is alot like a gun IMO, many people can handle one just fine and safely, but it only takes one idiot to kill somebody and stick the rest with the laws.-Joel

Yea, we didn't even do burnouts. Just took off from the light slowly, and then punched it; shifted into 3rd and shut down. A mile down the road we got pulled over; no idea where he was or anything. Gotta pay to play I guess.Joe - ATM SQUADAt the shop, watching them build my car.

I gotta agree with Joel, a while back, I had mentioned my night of stupidity with the '79. If some kid or someone crossed the street, dead meat at 135 mph. 20 years ago and still the most retarded thing I ever did with a car. Got me a careless and off the gas on the street. It was enough to put it on the 1/4 mile from then on out.Originally posted by JoeliusZ28 View Postits BS the state gets away with charging you that much for street racing, when thats probably not even what it was. I'll still take it to the track. It's just the fact that I was hardly even racing. I'm not denying the fact because I'll live with what I did. Oh well. You live you learn right?Originally posted by steddy View PostI gotta agree with Joel, a while back, I had mentioned my night of stupidity with the '79. I hardly ever street race. In fact, I'll do a burnout or launch it; but I'll never go all out on the street.Joe - ATM SQUADAt the shop, watching them build my car.
