    Steve I need Help

    Hey Sreve
    Hopefully you remember a couple weeks ago I was having VATS issues and you offered to go in and disable the system. Well It acted up again last night after I got home from Woodward. Security light went off (it usually stays on) So I tried to restart it afterwards and nothing. I let it sit all night and tried again this morning and Nothing .
    Either my Bypass didn't work or theres another issue. You sent me a PM quoting me a price, and I have cash in hand. Hopefully you can solve my problem I'm actually only a couple miles away from Vector (12mile Harper Area)

    Please get back to me ASAP I would like this done Today but really need it done before Dream Cruise on Saturday.

          Steve came by and was unable to solve the problem
          Looks like I'm done for awhile unless some miracle happens.

                  Right now I'm lost

                  Security light flashes when you turn the key so it's acting like it's not reading the keys resistence even though I did the bypass.
                  Maybe I need to redo the bypass or something. Or maybe find a new BCM like Brian Suggested.

                      Yeah sounds like the car isn't reading thr chip in the key I had the same problem and I did the bypass as well. I would start there and check all that out again.

                              Craig this is what Todd wrote up earlier as a fix...I had the exact same problem on Woodward last year and this fixed it...if I recall correctly, the root cause for this error is an ignition switch in the column going bad...

                              If still not starting repeat until all positions are exhausted.

                              Beyond that you'll be getting into more diagnosis.
