Come on man its been 4 months and you keep telling me "tomorrow, oh i have to work, tomorrow for sure, this weekend.... ect im waiting on parts." you've gotten quite a few peoples trans and ect done after i gave you mine. BUT Mines warranty... yet you keep blowing me off and respond when you feel like it. Ive been pretty patient but i could be storing my car for free some where but cant because its in pieces. you said you'd help me out for taking so long, but forget the money fluids ect. i just want my trans and converter so i can get my car stored.

Its too bad so many people are unhappy with how crappy Mike communicates with his customers. I need to buy a convertor, I would love to give him the business I will not consider it after so many peope have had trouble getting a hold of him.

Well update mike texted me and just says he's gonna reply to my post and that's it. So I would think he's not happy and I prolly won't see anything now

Incase my story gets challenged I have saved every text message from when I first gave him my trans all the way up until now. So about a years worth almost.

Your going to be getting the trans back tho right? Something should really be done about this, this site has thrown Mike a lot of business by being a site sponsor and such and there are a lot of unhappy members with stories like this. There does seem to be a good story pop up now and then tho... Russ I hope you get the trans back and dont have to take this any further! Best of luck man.

Sounds like Mike needs to get someone to act as a part-time office or business manager so that he can concentrate on the mechanical operations, and leave the communications, billing, record keeping and some parts acquisition to an assistant. The assistant could also be the scheduler and can turn away business if it simply does not fit into the immediate forecast. Mike seems to be unable to tell anyone "No," but the assistant could be more pragmatic about it. People might not like getting turned away, but it's better that being told "Yes" and then spending a whole year without the use of their car.

I feel bad seeing these kind of threads, because people are sitting without their cars, and Mike's reputation is getting trashed. What can be done to fix this and avoid this situation going forward? I'd suggest hiring an assistant, to allow Mike to concentrate on what he does best, and to to help schedule and control work flow, and to take the communications load off his back.

I agree with you 100% Kevin,Mike is a nice guy, does awesome work.To nice of a guy to turn anyone away.I have a few people including myself that is looking for a trans build and a converter.I know this is his busy time of year,he does have a full time job,I am not saying that he is right for not geting back to his customers,I know I went through the same thing.I think if he had someone helping out things would be alot smoother.

The fact that it has to become public for him to get anything taken care of is unacceptable...
